Calisthenics meets mobility: Adam Frater and Sante Moves pass 1.5 million
A five-month-old pairing with mobility coach Sante Moves carries a channel that posted nothing new over seven days.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
Calisthenics X Mobility | What's a better combo?!
Pull-ups or a deep squat? Adam Frater's most watched video right now puts the question in its title, "Calisthenics X Mobility | What's a better combo?!", and answers it with two people: Adam on the calisthenics side, @SanteMoves on mobility. Posted in May, it has passed 1.5 million views and still brings in far more each day than anything else on the channel.
There was no new upload this week, and the channel barely noticed. Daily views sat right at their usual level, a little over 22,000, carried mostly by that collaboration.
Behind it, the gap is wide. "THIS is how you learn a BACKFLIP (Safely!)" has Adam coaching three young men through their first flips, a skill the description calls something only one in a thousand people can do, and it ticks along at about a hundred views a day. "Street Calisthenics," from the summer, moves at a similar pace.
Among fitness channels of his size, it was a busy week elsewhere. Alexandrosthenics, another calisthenics channel with a similar subscriber count, is running well above its usual pace, and Colin Weng is up too, while Stephanie Sanzo is a little quieter than normal. Adam's channel, true to its no-weights, no-gym pitch, simply kept steady.
