Byf leaves the Tower for Washington: 'I tried The Division 2 in 2026'
The Destiny lore storyteller's only upload of the week is a fresh look at Ubisoft's shooter, and his comments keep asking for one particular team-up.

I tried The Division 2 in 2026. It showed me that I was wrong.
Byf has spent years as one of Destiny's best-known lore narrators, the voice behind long episodes on Rasputin, Clovis Bray and the war against the Darkness. His one new video takes him somewhere else entirely: "I tried The Division 2 in 2026. It showed me that I was wrong." It is a returning player's verdict on Ubisoft's looter shooter, set in a post-pandemic Washington, D.C., and the tags point at the Echoes of Central Park content and at Aaron Keener, the rogue agent who has haunted the series since the first game. The description credits only its editor, DestinyOverwatch.
It found about 50,000 viewers in its first day, and the comment section quickly became a welcome party. Longtime Division players are asking him to stay and dig into the game's scattered lore, which many say is deep but easy to miss because so much of it lives in collectibles. The most liked request by far is a crossover with NGN, the channel Division fans think of as the series' own lore keeper.
Destiny has not gone anywhere. "We did NOT go quietly. We Won.", his reaction to Bungie's update on the franchise's future, including plans to unvault old content, is nearing half a million views at under two weeks old, and an episode on Soteria, Astraea and Failsafe, the last AIs of Sol, is still finding listeners.
The channel ran a little below its usual pace, and among gaming commentary channels of its size this was a quieter week; Dobbs and YongYea had the busy ones. The audience sitting at about 1.1 million subscribers did not move, which is perhaps why the Division comments read like an invitation.
