Food-short pet peeves, weird pizzas and GTA 6 sick days with Jesse Cox and Dodger

A Geekenders episode where Dodger returns to World of Warcraft after decades closed out a run of six uploads, most of them podcast cuts about the internet's oddest habits.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Jesse Cox usually draws somewhere around 180,000 views a day across his channel. Right now it is running above that, a little over 215,000, and the reason looks like small talk: short cuts from the Geekenders Podcast, the show he hosts with his wife Dodger.

The week's most watched upload asks "What's Your Least Favorite Style of Short?" and the comment section took the question personally. Viewers line up their least favorite cooking clips: recipes with no measurements, the breathless "did you know" opening, the "I just found out" reveal of a perfectly ordinary dish. The most liked replies turn it around and name the food creators they actually trust, Liam and Dylan above all. The description adds that Jesse has spent two weeks buried in Control Resonant, while Dodger keeps recommending indie games.

The clip moving fastest now is the newest of the short cuts, "WHO is calling off of work for GTA 6?", which drew close to 58,000 views on its first day. "What's YOUR Country's Weirdest Pizza?" sits behind it, and "Jesse is NOT in Control!" has passed 117,000.

The full episode, number 144, went up on Sunday. Its chapters run from perpetual stew and spooky season to Dodger going back to World of Warcraft for the first time in decades, with Jesse juggling Control Resonant, Ace Combat 8 and a Dynasty Warriors 3 remake.

Among the gaming commentary channels closest to his size, Jesse gained the fourth most views of the week, while Dobbs had by far the busiest seven days and Skill Up, YongYea and Jesse filled out the top of the group.

  • I hate the ones that just don't give any kind of measurements first off, you're gonna want to put in some flour How much I don't know, then you wanna put in some sugar, give or take a lot or a little
