I Watched 40 Disturbing Documentaries.. Again

What does Mista GG post when the documentary series reaches a natural pause? All of it, again. "I Watched 40 Disturbing Documentaries.. Again" stitches his earlier watch-along videos into one sitting of a little over six hours, and the chapter list reads like a long syllabus: The Nightmare, Capturing The Friedmans, The Cove, Gladbeck: The Hostage Crisis, The Perfect Neighbor, and on to Caught In The Net at the very end.

It was his only upload, and it carried the week. The video drew about 256,000 views in its first day and has since passed 490,000. The channel as a whole is running well above its usual daily pace.

The comments read like a viewing party. A good number of people admit it took them a while to notice these were videos they had already seen, and plenty clicked anyway. Others treat the run like a TV show, saying it feels like a second season has just wrapped. Mista GG himself, in a pinned note, promises fresh watches are on the way.

The older entries are still being found too. His August four-documentary video, which covers several of the same films, keeps adding views every day.

Among the movie and TV commentary channels closest in size, it was a mid-table week. CineSavvy had by far the biggest one, while Science Fiction Station held close to its usual pace.
