A row of campers, a martini and one friend who had to clarify

Denny Love's single upload of the week, a crowd-work short about a group's camping trips, passed 850,000 views in six days.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

"They callin it CAMPING now?! ⛺️" is the only new video on Denny Love's channel this week, and one was plenty. It is crowd work in its purest form: a row of men in the audience, a friend group that goes camping together, and a comedian who will not let the word camping sit quietly.

The comment section has settled on its hero, and it is not Denny. While the rest of the row plays along, one man defends himself in a very serious voice, which only makes it funnier, and viewers keep replaying the moment he uncrosses his legs the second Denny asks about them. His martini comes up again and again too, and the giggling row gets its own share of attention. A few viewers point out that he only clarified after Denny clowned the drink.

The short drew close to a quarter of a million views on its first day and is now near 855,000, the busiest video on the channel by a long way. Behind it, a crowd-work clip from early September, "Yall ready to admit it yet… 👀🇺🇸", has passed three million and is still picking up viewers, as is a summer short about hecklers.

The whole channel is running a little above its usual pace, and it added about 18,000 subscribers in seven days, far more than any of the stand-up channels near its size. Among them only Phil Hanley gained more views, and several, Jenny Tian and Hot Water Comedy Club among them, are running below their usual pace. In the comments, Denny himself lists the dates of his Show Love Tour, from Spokane in October to three Texas nights in December.
