'Meatwood flack': Ren's Fleetwood Mac cover has viewers asking for an album
Viewers name the song as The Chain, and the comments came in nearly six times faster than on a usual Ren short.
Why this story? The video drew 867 comments in its first day, 5.9 times a normal first day on this channel (148).

Ren gave his newest short the kind of title you have to say out loud twice: "Meatwood flack," a scrambled tribute to Fleetwood Mac. The views on its first day were ordinary for him, a little over 100,000. The comment section was not. Viewers wrote nearly six times as much as they do on a typical first day for one of his shorts.
What they are writing about is the song. Several commenters identify it as The Chain, and the conversation keeps circling the same ideas. Blues fans say they like the slower pace he gives it. Others say he made a classic sound like one of his own. The most common request is for more: a full version of this cover, or a whole album of what viewers call his kitchen sessions.
That is a fitting thing to ask of Ren. The singer and rapper from England's south coast broke through to a huge audience with "Hi Ren" and his long-running Tale songs, but much of his early music was made on the street. One of his other uploads this week looks back at Ship Street with Sam Tompkins, the singer he calls his brother, who was also his bandmate in The Big Push.
The cover sits between quieter posts, a short about his wok and a throwback to Fire in the Booth, while his recent videos also look ahead to Inpatient and its first drop.
