Ren thanks the reaction channels, twice, and Jenny meets Screech

Who carried Ren's music furthest lately? By his own account, the reactors. Two of his six uploads are thank-you notes to the channels that film themselves hearing his songs for the first time. The first, a broad "big love" to the whole reaction community, has the biggest total of the week. The second, posted three days later, credits them with helping a song "reach the people that need it," and it is still moving at about the same daily clip as the older one.
The rest of the week drew on his own storytelling. "When Jenny meets Screech..." is tagged for Jenny's Tale, his multi-part song saga, and a purple-hearted short points to its companion, Violet's Tale. Ren, the Welsh musician born Ren Gill, built much of his audience on narrative songs like these. In between, he showed off a new instrument without saying in the title what it is.
The newest, "I try to make friends with my pain….", is only a day old and already the quickest of the lot. The subscriber count did not move over the few days on record. Among pop and singer-songwriter channels he sits third by subscribers, behind Jhené Aiko and Peter Hollens.
