Baby Donut Is Coming & The Serial Killer Deep Dive | Unsubscribe Podcast Ep 284
What was the special announcement? The title of episode 284 gives it away: Baby Donut is coming. Cody, the former police officer behind Donut Operator, shares the news with Eli Doubletap, Brandon Herrera and The Fat Electrician, and the description says the gang is together again. It is the channel's fastest starter right now, close to 100,000 views in eight hours. Around the baby news, the chapters wander through GTA 6 and how gaming has changed, a stretch on stocks, a long true-crime and serial killer segment, and a closing turn into socialism and communism.
The week's most watched upload is a short, "The Reality Of Being A WW2 Soldier," which has passed 180,000 views. Its comment section reads like a family album. Viewers describe fathers and grandfathers who had never owned shoes, grew up on dirt floors or without electricity, and then found themselves among the most advanced machines of their age.
Two older videos keep working in the background. "The History Of Jiu Jitsu Is Insane" is past one and a half million views at twelve days old, and last week's episode with Uncle Trout, built around Nic's Buc-ee's video, has passed half a million.
Overall the channel is running at a little over half its usual daily pace. Among podcast channels of similar size, Stiff Socks Podcast is having a very big week and Club 520 is well above its norm, while All-In Podcast and SuperMega are quieter than usual.
