Dentures, a vape and Josh Peck: twelve new rounds of guessing on Stiff Socks
The week's most watched upload, plain 'Guessing,' passed two million views, and its comments are busy settling whether an eggplant is a fruit.

Stiff Socks Podcast promises every viral game on the internet, and this week the two comedians mostly played one: guess what is in front of you. Twelve uploads went up, and the titles read like the contents of a strange drawer. There was a vape, a pregnancy test and, on Friday, a set of dentures that drew more than 700,000 views in its first day.
The most watched of the batch carries no clue at all. "Guessing" passed two million views, and its comment section is mostly a replay of Trevor's lines, the one about cooking it and the one about texting it. A second, more studious crowd has turned up to explain that the eggplant at the center of it is botanically a berry. A guest dropped in too: "Josh Peck Guessing Tate McRae" brings in the actor once known as half of Nickelodeon's Drake & Josh, this time trying to work out a pop star.
The freshest upload is not a guessing game. "POV: You Stand Next to Us at a Urinal" started slowly, then picked up speed, and it now runs close behind two videos from the week before, "Guess the Object" and "Guessing Gandhi," which are still the channel's busiest.
All of it added up to about 70 million views in seven days, more than any of the nearby podcast and interview channels with weekly totals, and the channel's daily pace sits above its usual. Some 50,000 new subscribers came along. SmoshCast and ALL THE SMOKE had steadier weeks, while Dwarkesh Patel ran a little above his own norm.
