Ranking Our Dream Guests | Smosh Mouth 163
Smosh Mouth spent episode 163 daydreaming. Shayne Topp and Amanda Lehan-Canto, the podcast's short and tall hosts by its own description, were joined by Smosh regular Angela Giarratana to rank the guests they would most like to have on, and the chapters show how loosely that went: a detour into middle-of-the-night animal activity, a Cinespia story, a warning about millipedes and centipedes, and a section of dream guests that includes animals.
The episode went up on Monday and has passed 680,000 views. The comment section has turned into a booking desk. Viewers keep returning to Angela turning down Michelle Obama so Barack would not be distracted, and to an opening in which she can barely stop coughing. Then come the suggestions: Muppets roasting Smosh's sketches, Ms. Piggy in particular, Brendan Fraser reading wholesome Reddit stories, Robert Irwin, Miranda Cosgrove, and Brennan Lee Mulligan back in almost any format. Several point out that Lisa Loeb has already said she would be happy to collaborate.
The two shorts cut later in the week moved faster. "Tomodachi Smosh goes crazy 😳" drew close to 400,000 views on its first day, and the Jollibee craving short from Wednesday is still busy behind it.
Overall the channel ran a little below its usual daily pace, with about five million views over the seven days and a steady 1.1 million subscribers. Among the podcast channels nearest its size, that put SmoshCast in the middle of the pack, while Stiff Socks Podcast had a very big week and the All-In Podcast a much quieter one than usual.
