Tamatoa and Davy Jones join Disney Villainous in TTPM's game review

Ravensburger's Treacherous Tides pack, for players 10 and up, was the newest of three reviews, alongside a puzzle game and a storytelling unicorn.

Two days old, and the Disney Villainous review is already the busiest thing on TTPM Toy Reviews. "Add Tamatoa and Davy Jones to Your Villainous Arsenal!" covers Treacherous Tides, the Ravensburger pack that lets players take on the glittering coconut crab from Moana or the tentacle-bearded captain of the Flying Dutchman. Each villain arrives with his own deck, abilities and goal, and the description points out that the pieces can stand alone or join a collection already on the shelf.

The other two reviews aimed younger. Hansel & Gretel's Candy Adventure Deluxe, a SmartGames-style logic puzzle for ages 5 to 8, packs 60 challenges about escaping the witch's forest, and the one viewer who wrote in mostly took inventory: two lollipop trees, a gumball bush and a little gingerbread house. Then came Lovabies ZeeZee, a storytelling unicorn plush from PlayShifu with five play modes and more than 100 stories and songs, pitched as screen-free.

The channel as a whole ran a little below its usual pace, with a bit over 400,000 views across the week and the subscriber count holding steady. Among children's channels, Handyman Hal and Rock 'N Learn are having the big weeks, while TTPM sits closer to Language Learning Market in size of audience. A September Furreal sloth whose smile grows as kids play with it is still finding a few viewers too.
