A LEGO Donkey Kong cabinet where Jumpman never stops jumping, for Nintenduo World
The trio's only upload of the week is a brick-built arcade machine that runs Mario over barrels in an endless loop.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
This LEGO ARCADE actually WORKS! 🤯 Donkey Kong Arcade & Super Mario
One upload, built from bricks. Nintenduo World, the Nintendo news channel run by Ares, Rascayu and Chris, spent its week on a single video: a LEGO Donkey Kong arcade machine that actually moves. The description promises an endless loop, with Mario hopping over barrels the way he did in 1981, back when the arcade called him Jumpman. A few viewers in the comments are quick to point that out, and others simply want to know what it costs. It took close to 39,000 views on its first day and has kept going since.
The channel's real engine is still a three-week-old explainer on the Switch 2 Version 2, the model the trio say Nintendo had to release to meet European Union rules on batteries. Its title sums up the trade: heavier, shorter battery life, and better. It has passed two million views and still draws more each day than the LEGO cabinet does. Further back, a six-week-old look at whether Elden Ring's Tarnished Edition is a disaster on Switch 2 keeps finding readers too.
With only one new video, the channel ran at about half its usual daily pace, and subscribers held at 481,000. Among the gaming news channels around its size, Retro Jakes is the one having a big week, while Mortismal Gaming and Jake Baldino are also running below their norm. Nintenduo World still gathered the third most views of the group, about 550,000 over the week, with Maka91Productions just behind.
