Tentabyss, Clampart and a Druddigon at last: HoopsandHipHop's three-stage Pokémon

Four fan-made evolutions drawn by RGreywind, for Kilowattrel, Cloyster, Druddigon and Tentacruel, led five uploads on the Pokémon channel.

What if EVERY Pokémon Evolved TWICE?What if EVERY Pokémon Evolved TWICE?

What would Druddigon look like with somewhere to evolve? HoopsandHipHop took that question, and three more like it, into "What if EVERY Pokémon Evolved TWICE?", the most watched of five new uploads. The idea is to even out the field so every Pokémon gets two evolutions, and the video works through four that fall short: Kilowattrel, Cloyster, Druddigon and Tentacruel. RGreywind drew the new designs, and the results carry names like Gigawattrel, Clampart and Tentabyss.

The comments read like a design meeting. Clampart's name gets the most love, and the creator admits on camera that naming it was a headache. Druddigon fans turn up with long-held hopes, and several viewers push for a sequel built on Gen 2, Marowak or the Meowth family.

The same video also went up a second time two days later, and "CRAZY Pokémon Facts You NEED TO KNOW" did the same, so the week's five uploads cover three ideas. The trivia video, which runs from Kangaskhan to the beta starters and the Sinnoh starters' typings, is the fastest-moving thing on the channel right now. Close behind is a twelve-day-old video that gives Vigoroth, Delibird, Tandemaus and Loudred evolutions based on their Nature.

Views ran a little under the usual pace, and the channel added about a thousand subscribers to reach 440,000. Among the gaming channels around its size, Maka91Productions and ENDYMIONtv had the busier weeks, while The Easter Egg Hunter and GameLinked stayed quiet.

  • I'm liking Gigawattrel and loving Clampart and Tentabyss!!!! Cloyster and Tentacruel getting some love would be great.

I'd love for a Part 2. Maybe exploring some Gen 2 Pokemon with extra evolutions?

  • These are great. I especially like the Druddigon family because, as much as I like Druddigon, its stats weren't as good as other dragons I had the option of using. The Cloyster evolution was great too. I've thought it was a cool Pokémon, but Lapras always filled the role of Water/Ice type better. The evolution would probably be the boost I'd need to give it a shot on my team.

  • 4:47 I feel you on this one to a spiritual level. It’s such a simple name, but the brain wants to hit every possible option, bypassing the obvious good choice 😭 naming fakemon is harder than people think lolx
