Who inherits your Steam library? Guru Larry reads the fine print
His one new Fact Hunt goes through the terms of service of Steam, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo to see what happens to a digital game collection after its owner dies.

The Death of Video Game Ownership - Fact Hunt
It sounds like a dark joke, but it is a fair question: when you die, can your family keep the games you paid for? Larry Bundy Jr, the "Guru Larry" some viewers remember from TV, spent his only upload of the week finding out. "The Death of Video Game Ownership - Fact Hunt" wades through the terms of service of Steam, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo, and the description promises tips on protecting your digital estate before the Grim Reaper comes for the licenses. It is a sequel of sorts to his earlier episode, "You Don't Actually Own Your Video Games (and Never Have!)", with a guest voiceover from PortablePowerPodcast and editing by SlopesGameRoom.
The video drew close to 48,000 views on its first day and is now near 80,000. The comments read like a debate club. Many point out that GOG, the DRM-free store, is independent again and back in private hands, others argue that piracy is a form of preservation, and some simply say they have enough games on disc to last several lifetimes. A good number just welcome Larry back.
Beyond the new episode, the older Fact Hunts move slowly. A month-old look at full-price games built to test other games, from Motor Toon Grand Prix paving the way for Gran Turismo to Rockstar's table tennis game before GTA IV, still finds viewers, as does a summer episode on developers who admitted inside their own games that they were rubbish.
The channel ran slower than usual over the week, and subscribers held at 435,000. Among gaming channels near its size, Maka91Productions and HoopsandHipHop had the busiest weeks, while The Easter Egg Hunter was quieter still.
