Jack Jerry, the former gymnast who now makes comedy, fitness and fashion shorts in Los Angeles, spent part of his week inside Disney's Worlds Collide Concert Tour. The show brings together the music of three Disney Channel franchises, Descendants, Zombies and Camp Rock, and Jack posted two shorts from it.
The bigger one is "He flew out of the floor!", a few seconds of a performer launched onto the stage from below. It passed 40,000 views on its first day and is close to 70,000 now, the most watched of his thirteen uploads. The comments are about that entrance, with one viewer naming Malachi as the flier and another simply noting that Disney does not do its tours by halves. A few people going to a later date asked to be spared the spoilers. Two days earlier, "What you don't see on TV" took the backstage angle and became the week's second most watched short.
The rest of the week stayed close to home: a gymnastics challenge billed as "so hard", a Spider-Man pick-a-side with Courtney Sanderson, and a Michael Jackson "Beat It" dance workout meant to replace the treadmill. The quickest starter right now is a day-old comedy short, "Hold on a second 👀".
Views ran slower than his usual pace this week, though about 10.8 million still came in. Among dance and performing arts channels close to his size, only Jasmin and James drew more.
