Adam Richman, Katz's and twelve hours of New York for Eating With Tod

A day earlier, Tod flew to Austin to give Joshua Weissman's new fried chicken restaurant an honest verdict, and the comments are still talking about the ranch.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Tod went to America, and he went hungry. His biggest upload of the week, "Honest Review of Joshua Weissman's New Restaurant! (Was it Overrated?!)", sees him travel about 5,000 miles to Austin to try the fried chicken place the YouTube chef has opened. The description promises the truth, and viewers seem to have braced for it: the most liked reply admits a moment of panic when Tod said he didn't like something. Others point out the small, simple menu, laugh at a very generous ranch pour, and a few think they spotted Caleb Hammer walking through the background.

Then came New York. In "We Ate NYC's Most Iconic Food!" Tod spends twelve straight hours with Adam Richman, the Brooklyn native who made his name eating his way across the country on Man v. Food. The tags read like a pilgrimage: Katz's Deli, bagels and lox, Nathan's hot dogs at Coney Island. Three days in, it is the video gathering views fastest on the channel, ahead of a short about a Queens seafood spot.

Back home, the shorts turned to London, with the first part of a city guide and a dish where Japanese fusion meets Italian.

The channel as a whole ran well above its usual pace, and among the food channels nearest its size only Ryantagcoffee and Alpine Butcher added more views over the seven days. Not bad for a man whose about page sums up the whole operation: he doesn't like food, he loves it.
