Pastrami beef cheeks, eight days old, carry TFTI BBQ's smoker week
A brisket-style pork belly and a Cajun shrimp lumpia were the only new uploads, and the lumpia is a Filipino-Cajun mashup aimed at game day.

Pastrami usually means brisket. TFTI BBQ gave the treatment to beef cheeks instead, smoked on an offset, and the result is the video doing most of the work on the channel right now. It went up just before this week began and has already passed 380,000 views, pulling in far more each day than anything else in the catalog.
The two new uploads came from the same kitchen logic: take a familiar method and point it somewhere else. "Brisket Style Pork Belly" runs a slab of skin-off belly on a pellet smoker with a Texas salt-and-pepper rub. It was the week's most watched new video. The creator admits in the comments that he cooked it a little past where he was aiming, and viewers mostly want to try it themselves; one who has already smoked tri-tip like a brisket says this is next. Others noticed the 49ers hat.
Then came "Cajun Shrimp Lumpia w/ Cajun Remoulade Sauce," which is the channel's whole identity in one plate. The about page carries the Philippine, Louisiana and American flags, and here the Filipino spring roll meets Cajun shrimp and a remoulade, tagged for game-day snacking. It is gathering views faster than the pork belly did.
The channel as a whole is running a little above its usual daily pace and added around 3,000 subscribers. Among food channels of similar size, Gary Eats and Feast with Wei are having the busiest stretch, while Thee Burger Dude sits close to TFTI BBQ's level. A September pastrami turkey breast is still drawing a steady crowd too, so pastrami is clearly having a moment in this backyard.
