Steve Hilton, Xavier Becerra and a California debate for DeVory Darkins

Seven uploads ran from the race for governor in Sacramento to Zohran Mamdani's video for Jewish New Yorkers, each with a title that keeps its subject a secret.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

They didn’t see this coming…They didn’t see this coming…

Seven uploads, all mystery titles. DeVory Darkins rarely tells you in the title what a video is about ("They didn't see this coming…", "We finally know the truth..."), so the descriptions do that work. The one with the clearest subject is the California governor debate, where, in the description's words, Steve Hilton took apart Xavier Becerra. Hilton spent years as David Cameron's strategy chief in London before moving to California. Becerra is the state's former attorney general.

The rest of the week moved across the map. One video covers a video Zohran Mamdani made for Jewish New Yorkers, which the description calls bizarre. Another follows Texas Democrat James Talarico, billed as flip-flopping, alongside Jasmine Crockett. Comments under the week's most watched upload turned to a Supreme Court decision on deportation and due process, and to Hillary Clinton.

Every upload opened with somewhere between roughly 150,000 and 250,000 views on its first day. The newest, "There is no FREAKING way...", is a day old and drawing viewers faster than anything else on the channel.

The channel as a whole was slower than usual, though. It picked up about 1.8 million views over seven days, well below its normal pace, and its subscriber count did not move. Among commentary channels of similar size, Breezy Politics and Legal AF had the busy weeks, while Bill O'Reilly kept close to his usual rhythm.
