Klara Bühl's 18th-minute goal in Frankfurt widens Bayern's lead

The only new upload of DAZN Women's Football's week is a German-language Frauen Bundesliga highlights reel from matchday six, where the leaders won 1-0 away.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

A new video on DAZN Women's Football usually has plenty of company. Not this time: a single upload carried the week, and it came from the Frauen Bundesliga.

"Vorsprung ausgebaut" (roughly, "lead extended") is the title of the channel's highlights from Eintracht Frankfurt against FC Bayern München on matchday six, and it tells the story in two words. Bayern arrived as league leaders and left with a 1-0 win, the goal coming from Klara Bühl in the 18th minute. Bühl, a Germany international and one of the league's most dangerous wingers, has been a constant in Bayern's season on this channel. She also opened the scoring in their 4-1 win at Union Berlin on the first matchday, and that reel is still drawing a trickle of views six weeks later.

The Frankfurt clip was the busiest thing on the channel in its first hours, collecting views far faster than a typical day here would suggest. The comments, almost all in German, read like a match-day pub table. Several viewers are simply running out of superlatives for Bühl. Another points out that a substitution praised as clever was really forced by an injury to Giulia Gwinn, which the highlights leave out. One fan replays a Frankfurt near-miss at 2:22 with some amusement.

Overall the channel ran slower than usual, with subscribers holding at about 1.2 million. Among the football channels around its size, the big week belonged to the clip and compilation accounts, BallBlitz above all, while this one, built on full league matches rather than shorts, had the smallest week of the group. A curious leftover keeps ticking along too: Day 3 of World Sevens Football from late May, still picking up viewers months later.
