How to Fix a Flat Tire on a BMX Bike🪛🛞
Billy Perry has spent the past few weeks answering the practical questions. He has covered how to stop without brakes and how to get a bike onto a plane, and the latest is how to fix a flat. The New York rider, who races for Volume Bikes and Merritt BMX, posted just one video this week, and it is the most down-to-earth of the lot: the tools you need, the easiest way through a puncture, and a trick for saving a tire that already has a hole in it.
It opened with around 11,000 views on its first day and has kept a steady pace since. The real engine of the channel, though, is still the plane video. Posted 24 days ago, it has passed three and a half million views and is still bringing in far more each day than anything else he has posted. In it he shows how he flies with his BMX for free, with a nod to Odyssey BMX for the bag. The brakeless-stopping tutorial, a little over two weeks old, has settled into a gentler rhythm.
All of that has the channel running a bit above its usual daily views, without much happening on the subscriber side. Among the fitness and training channels near his size, The Fashion Jogger is having the standout stretch, nearly doubling its usual pace, while Linda Sun is a little quieter than normal. Billy sits comfortably in the middle, one flat tire at a time.
