A fireplace so tall it caught the installer off guard nears a million views

The LG G6 job went up after a client's Frame TV gave out, and it is still Xpress Tv Mounting's busiest video while the week's only new upload leans on bloopers.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

"Highest tv on the planet 😭" is a fireplace job on Xpress Tv Mounting, the Houston installer's channel, and six weeks after it went up it is closing in on a million views. The description tells the backstory: a new client whose Frame TV went out after two years, a request for another flat, flush-looking screen, and a photo of the fireplace that gave no hint of how high it really sat. The mantel was too deep for a drop-down mount, so the LG G6, which he calls his favorite TV on the market, went up the hard way. He admits it caught him off guard.

It is not the only older job still drawing a crowd. A 115-inch Samsung QN90F install from three weeks ago keeps climbing, and a whole-house Sonos setup is close behind.

The week's one new upload, "World record frame tv install," is as much comedy as carpentry. The bloopers are what the comment section talks about: a running line of double meanings, some wall punches, and a colleague named Derrick whom several viewers suspect of trolling. One wants a follow-up showing how the speakers get wired.

The channel ran a touch below its usual daily pace and added about 1,000 subscribers. Among the DIY and home channels close to its size, it sits fourth by views gained, with Beamish DIY having by far the biggest week and Clickspring and Woodworking Guide on the quiet side.
