A wind-powered wooden boat joins Woodworking Craftsman's curved bed and BBQ table
The newest upload follows a master carpenter building a boat by hand, from raw timber to hull, cabin and engine.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Among the DIY and home channels nearest its size, Woodworking Craftsman gained the fewest views of the week, a little under 200,000, while BAS Renovations had an enormous run. That ranking hides a lively few days, though: the channel's daily pace sits well above its usual level, running at roughly 43,000 views a day against a typical 27,000.
Most of that lift comes from a ten-day-old video, "Making Curved Cross Joints Bed Monolithic," which has passed 19,000 views. It is a build about joinery hidden inside a bed frame. The description promises dozens of fitted solid-wood pieces that only reveal themselves as a bed at the end. Its tags also call it "A Thousand-Dollar Bed."
Three new uploads went up. A curved hexagonal coffee table came first, then a garden BBQ table built on the same cross-joint idea as the bed. On Friday came the odd one out, "Full Process Build Wind-powered Wooden Boat of a 50 Year Old Master Craftsman." Billed as an uncut record of one carpenter's dream boat, it runs from choosing and shaping the timber through the hull and cabin to fitting a single engine. A sail-and-engine boat on a furniture channel is a change of scenery, and it is already the quickest of the three new videos.
Subscribers held steady at about 1.1 million.
