A plastic bottle helicopter, built twice, for Beginner Life
Four days after it went up, the short version of the channel's bottle helicopter has gone well past the step-by-step tutorial it came after, and a commenter wants the steps.
Why this story? The video is running at 21,436 views a day, 11 times its usual pace (1,916).

Beginner Life has spent the past two weeks in the air, at least on its workbench. Since late September the DIY channel has posted a plastic bottle airplane, a "100% Flying Helicopter" short, a full step-by-step RC helicopter tutorial and, on September 30, "How to Build a Helicopter at Home," a short that is now the busiest of the batch.
It was slow to start. Its first day brought a little over 2,000 views, about normal for the channel's shorts. Then, on its fourth day, it picked up more than 21,000 in a single day, a pace roughly ten times what it had been managing. It is not clear what set it off.
The build is the one the channel walked through at length two days earlier. That long tutorial lists its parts: a plastic bottle, a 3.7-volt battery, an on/off switch, a coreless motor, a DC motor, a popsicle stick, a pencil and glue. The short shows the same idea in under a minute. That may be why the only comments so far are a viewer, writing in Urdu, asking for the method, and a reply.
The bottle airplane from September 23 is still the channel's biggest video of the month. Beginner Life keeps its own record of how it got here: the about page logs every subscriber milestone, from 5,000 in February 2018 to a million in December 2024.

The short's latest day stands far above its own first one. The channel as a whole is running only a little ahead of its usual pace.
