A golf course inside Cedar Creek, and Mike Helmer's walk out after 15 years

Jordan Rogers' new Yard Time episode follows a prison golf program in Washington, while Jim Cornette went back to WWE's 2002 Katie Vick angle.

Golf carried the week. Of the fifteen uploads VICE Sports put out, the one drawing the most viewers right now is "This Prison Uses Golf to Prepare Inmates for Life After Release | Yard Time," which passed 8,000 views in its first day.

Yard Time is hosted by Jordan Rogers, a former elite athlete who, as the series introduction puts it, has lived through addiction and incarceration himself. This time he goes to Cedar Creek Corrections Center in Washington, where incarcerated men play golf to practice patience, handle frustration and think before acting. The chapters run from the course's own "19th hole" to what the state borrowed from Norway's prisons, and the episode ends with Mike Helmer getting ready, then walking out after 15 years inside. Two shorter clips from the same visit followed it.

The wrestling side of the channel kept its own schedule. Jim Cornette, the veteran manager turned historian, hosts Cornette's Side of the Ring, a companion to the docuseries Dark Side of the Ring, and his look back at the 2002 Katie Vick storyline with Kane and Triple H became the week's most watched upload. In its comments, older fans place it in a slump after the Attitude Era, when The Rock and Steve Austin were away. A lighter piece on rollerblading's strange trick names filled out the week.

Overall the channel ran at about half its usual daily pace. Among documentary channels near its size, RocaNews had the biggest week, and the fifth estate was one of the few running above its normal level.
