"Searching for THE one..." outruns a whole M2 build on TJ Hunt Clips
The side channel's Friday upload passed 100,000 views in three days, and its description gives away nothing beyond a hello.
Why this story? The whole channel is running at 107,379 views a day, 20 times a normal day (5,291).
TJ Hunt Clips is where the car creator's uncut footage and best moments go once they have done their work on his main channel. The audience is usually modest, around five thousand views on a typical day. Its newest upload, "Searching for THE one...", went up on Friday and had passed 100,000 views by Monday. That lifted the whole channel to roughly twenty times its usual daily pace.
What exactly is being searched for stays a mystery from the outside. The title does not say, and the description is three words and a smile: "hello clips fam." For a channel built on cars, a new car seems the obvious guess, but it is only a guess.
Set it beside the uploads that came before it and the contrast is plain. The "FULL BUILD" compilation of TJ's G87 BMW M2, which strings a whole build series into one video (aero, suspension, a single turbo, a color change under paint protection film), has spent months getting to about 80,000 views. The drift footage from Hotpit Autofest stayed quieter still. That covers the Supra weekend where he made the Top 16 before losing to Rome Charpentier, and the third round that, in his own words, "did not go as planned." A day trip to Las Vegas sits in between. In three days the teaser-titled clip has gone further than any of them.
The subscriber count sits at a round 200,000 and did not move over the week. The views did the moving, nearly all of them in one direction.
