  5. 10:18The final verdict favours Hot, with flavour rather than overwhelming heat distinguishing the range.

Nando's Hot sauce doesn't quite deliver the ordeal The TRY Channel's tasters are used to. Instead, it gives them something to discuss beyond how much their mouths hurt: the flavour.

The new upload, "Irish People Try Nando's PERi-PERi Hot Sauces", has drawn roughly 43,000 views in its first twelve hours. Having previously tried the chain's chicken, the Irish comedy channel turns to the bottled sauces sold in shops in Ireland, working from Lemon & Herb through Garlic and Medium to Hot.

Laura Gough and Aidan Greene, Aileen and Hayley, and Seamus Stackpoole and Darren Lalor take their places in pairs. There are chicken wings for dipping, with gluten-free chips supplied to Aidan. Lemon & Herb brings citrus and little heat; Garlic prompts Darren to reconsider his evening plans: "Okay, so I ain't kissing anyone later on."

Medium gets a Goldilocks comparison from Darren and Seamus, though Hayley finds it remarkably similar to Garlic. The final bottle makes a clearer impression. "Oh, the flavor of that is the best one by far," Hayley says of Hot, which becomes the group's general favourite without overwhelming them.

The comments have their own tasting notes: one viewer treats Aileen's underwhelmed response to the heat as a spice-tolerance milestone, while others find that all the talk of "herby" brings Disney's Herbie to mind. Seamus's closing distinction is more practical: unlike sauces that offer nothing but heat, these give him something else to taste.
