  1. 0:37Lamb pide starts the tasting, with praise for the dough and an early debate about the pizza label.
  2. 2:07Sucuk pide prompts comparisons to loaded garlic bread and questions about the missing tomato sauce.
  3. 4:27Beef pide arrives, Callyann plays with its boat shape, and Dermot and Clisare continue their pizza discussion.
  4. 6:36Spinach and cheese divides the table over its lighter flavor and dryness.
  5. 9:03The contributors give their final verdicts on the four varieties.

The dough wins Callyann over. The label is another matter: in The TRY Channel's Turkish pide tasting, Dermot Ward and Clisare keep returning to whether these savory flatbreads really belong in the pizza category.

"It's not far off pizza but it's not pizza!" Dermot says. Across the table pairings, Paddy Murphy, Callyann Brennan, Nicole O'Connor and Hayley work through lamb, Turkish salami, beef, and spinach with cheese. The missing tomato sauce becomes a talking point, with the salami version drawing comparisons to loaded garlic bread. By the spinach round, the lighter topping has some supporters and others wishing for more moisture.

"Irish People Try Turkish Pizza For The First Time (Pide)" was the most-watched of the week's five uploads, reaching roughly 95,000 views. In the comments, viewers discuss adding olive oil and lemon, question the usefulness of the "Turkish pizza" label, and repeatedly pick up on Hayley's enthusiasm for lamb.

Pizza arguments also made it into The Green Room. Colin Regan welcomed Clisare and Ciara O'Doherty for a conversation covering pineapple toppings, cold leftovers and whether milk should go into tea first. Separate Shorts pulled out the tea question and burgers-or-steak debate.

The newest tasting, "Irish People Try BeatBox Cocktails For The First Time," adds boxed drinks and attempts at beatboxing. It's currently bringing in the most daily views, followed by the pide episode and the previous week's Au Vodka cans tasting.

The subscriber count held steady, while daily views are running at about half their usual level. Nearby food channel lifeofcian also has a slower daily viewing pace, though its subscribers grew over the week. For TRY's latest food outing, Callyann supplies the more personal verdict: "I miss Turkey now."
