- 1:03Gary orders a Fish Combo with chicken, shrimp and sausage added.
- 4:17He finds the chips greasy and stale-tasting, describing them as poor frozen chips.
- 6:33The cod disappoints him, with batter he finds lacking in flavor.
- 8:52He samples shrimp and battered chicken, spitting out the chicken after tasting it.
- 11:03Gary calls the sausage inedible and shows its interior to the camera.
- 16:24His verdict is zero out of ten; the receipt totals $56.95.
The chips are the first warning. Gary takes a bite outside Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips in Las Vegas and finds a stale taste and greasy texture. "They're not even good frozen chips. They are bad frozen chips," he says.
It sets the direction for a review that ends with a zero rating and a bill of roughly $57. Gary's order goes well beyond the Fish Combo: he adds shrimp, chicken and a sausage on a stick, giving himself several chances to find something worth recommending.
The cod doesn't rescue lunch. He finds the batter short on flavor and the fish underwhelming. After trying the shrimp, he bites into the battered chicken and spits it out. The sausage fares no better; he opens it up for the camera and calls it inedible.
Gary also points to overflowing bins around the outdoor seating. Viewers pick up on discarded food visible there, while others focus on the price of bottled water and worry that visitors might mistake this meal for a representative British fish-and-chip experience.
This isn't Gary's first unhappy encounter with a Ramsay-branded restaurant. His earlier breakfast review, in which he sent food back, is his most-watched regular upload. Here, though, his judgment extends across almost everything he orders.
The video has reached about 1.8 million views, part of an American food itinerary that also takes in Franklin BBQ, New York delis and a first visit to In-N-Out. At this Las Vegas stop, the famous name on the storefront gets no allowance when Gary delivers his verdict.
