A new video on The Daily Beast's channel usually closes its first day short of 7,000 views. Episode 173 of Inside Trump's Head, posted Saturday, went past 120,000 in its first ten hours.

The idea is in the title: "These Are the 10 Things that Terrify Trump Most." Michael Wolff, who has written several books on Trump starting with Fire and Fury, sits with Joanna Coles and works through the fears he believes drive the president. The list runs from rejection, ridicule and being left alone to losing the spotlight, and the final chapter asks outright whether Trump is afraid of death. The longest stretch is about intelligence. The description says Wolff recounts the efforts he says were made to keep Trump's academic records out of view, and explains why he thinks ordinary conversation leaves the president exposed. Wolff also offers a prediction about how Trump could keep his power after leaving office.

The comments had already passed a usual full first day's worth within those ten hours. Many of them stay on that intelligence chapter. Viewers bring up how often Trump talks about the cognitive tests he has taken, and one well-liked thread points out that a learning disability and a lack of intelligence are not the same thing.

It was not the only long episode running ahead. The Daily Beast Podcast, in which Coles and executive editor Hugh Dougherty take on Margo Martin and Natalie Harp, a motorcade doing nearly 100 mph through Texas and Grok's place in foreign policy, also reached well past 100,000 in its first day. The short clips cut from both shows mostly stayed in the thousands.
