Five ways to kill a Tango: the Hermits' traps keep firing past a million
Episode 24 of Tango Tek's Hermitcraft season reveals and scores all five devices his fellow Hermits built to finish him off, and it carried a week with no new uploads.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
How the Hermits Kill a Tango! - Hermitcraft #24
Ten days ago Tango Tek let his friends try to kill him, and that episode is still doing the work. "How the Hermits Kill a Tango! - Hermitcraft #24" gathers the five devices the other Hermits built for the job, reveals each one and scores it. It has passed a million views, and nothing else on the channel is moving at anything like its pace.
No new video went up over the past seven days, so the season's recent episodes carried the week. Behind the trap reveal sits "The Vampire Mansion! - Hermitcraft #23", where Tango finally gets a home: a dark mansion set into the corrupted mountain that also serves as the entrance to Decked Out 3, the newest version of the dungeon game he is best known for on Hermitcraft. Further back, "PURE. RAVAGER. MAGIC!" from late summer still draws a steady trickle, ravagers delivered into the dungeon on demand, plus a meetup with Pearl and Impulse.
Without fresh uploads, the channel's daily views settled at about a third of their usual level, and the subscriber count held at 1.2 million. Among Minecraft creators of similar size, TechyCraft is having the big week, with CashClips not far off, while fellow Hermits impulseSV and Shubble are also running quieter than usual. Tango's mansion is built, the dungeon's doorway is open, and the traps meant for him are still being watched.
