Minecraft chuds lift metal: Sharpness takes Jepex to the gym
The self-styled Minecraft antagonist stepped out from behind the blocks with his frequent sparring partner, and viewers are already predicting the edits.
SharpnessStory of Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
minecraft chuds lift metal ft. Jepex
Sharpness, whose about page sums him up in two words, "minecraft antagonist," spent part of his week away from the sword and at the weight rack. "minecraft chuds lift metal ft. Jepex" brings the fellow Minecraft player along for a gym session, and its short description, "minecraft live," suggests it was cut from a stream. Close to 57,000 people watched it on its first day.
The comment section is mostly about seeing the man behind the voice. Viewers keep remarking that he is more muscular than they pictured, a few say his looks do not match his voice, and one points out the neon shorts and slippers. Several are sure the clip will feed a wave of fan edits. Another popular joke flips the usual order: Sharpness may win the fights in the game, but in the gym Jepex is the stronger one.
A Saturday short, "Strength SMP bowling 🎳," followed, and back in the catalog the PvP duels are still busy. "Sharpness vs JudeLow," more than five months old and well past two and a half million views, is drawing almost as many daily viewers as the new gym video. "Sharpity vs Verity," ten days old, trails behind them.
The channel ran a little below its usual daily pace and added about 3,000 subscribers, leaving it 21,000 short of a million. Among Minecraft creators of similar size, LookOut2DD had the big week, while Sharpness landed fourth for views gained, nearly level with Stay Wild Gaming.
