Spooky cakes arrive at Spirit of Cake, one Halloween upload in
A burger-shaped cake from mid-September is still the compilation channel's steadiest draw, while the new pumpkins and ghosts find their feet.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
Spooktacular Halloween Cake Decorating You’ll Love 🎃👻🎂 Creative Spooky Cake Ideas
Spirit of Cake runs on a simple promise: satisfying cake decorating, made by LifeMedia and served up as compilations. This week it served exactly one, and it was dressed for October.
"Spooktacular Halloween Cake Decorating You'll Love 🎃👻🎂 Creative Spooky Cake Ideas" went up on Saturday, pumpkins and ghosts in the title, a question in the description asking viewers which cake they would pick. Its first hours were modest, a few hundred views, and the earliest comments are simply people wishing everyone a happy Halloween, nearly a month early.
The older videos are doing their share. "Food Inspired Cake Decorating 🎂🍔 Sweet Creations With a Twist," two weeks old, is a showcase of cakes made to look like other food, and it has passed 18,000 views. Behind it sits a batch of summer cookies, watermelon and ice cream themes included, a little out of season now.
The channel as a whole is running somewhat ahead of its usual pace, a pleasant lift for a week with so little new on the shelf. Among cooking channels of about a million subscribers it is one of the quieter ones by daily views, far from the crowds at Antojitos LindaMar and ahnestkitchen, though busier than Great Depression Cooking with Clara.
