Five fridges and Umma's post-gym menu keep Ahnest Kitchen cooking
Nothing new went up, and a 67-year-old Korean mother's day of eating, from smoked salmon crackers to a quick kimbap roll, has passed 3.3 million views.

Everything my 67 year old Korean mother eats in a day, post-gym! #healthylifestyle #whatieatinaday
No new uploads, no slowdown to speak of. Ahnest Kitchen, the Orange County and Los Angeles channel built around a daughter and her Korean mother, Umma, posted nothing over the past seven days and still drew a little over four million views, close to its usual daily rhythm.
The video pulling the most each day is a tour of the family's five fridges, now a hundred days old and past 1.6 million views. Right behind it is "Everything my 67 year old Korean mother eats in a day, post-gym!", the bigger video overall at about 3.4 million. The description tells the backstory: Umma was signed up at a local gym and has taken to weight lifting, and the day that follows is a careful one. Multigrain crackers with smoked salmon and honey, eggs with vegetables over an oatmeal quinoa rice with kimchi, a Greek yogurt bowl with goji berries, an apple, celery and carrot juice, fermented soybean powder in milk, a shared kimbap roll with marinated beef and perilla leaf. And then, to close the day, a bag of taro chips.
The third video carrying the channel is gentler: a short about growing up with a mother who never pressured her daughter to marry or have children, still finding viewers at fifty days old.
Among the cooking channels nearest its size, Ahnest Kitchen gained the most views of the week, a little ahead of Antojitos LindaMar, the Arizona snack shop that is running above its usual pace. Jack's Dining Room and LATRYGUY were both a touch quieter than normal.
