A flight-tracking map gives a measure of the Learjet's final descent: roughly eight kilometers in a minute, according to South Korea's Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation (MBC).
The report opens with dashcam footage showing the jet plunging steeply beside a road near homes in Florida, followed by an explosion. Ground-level footage shows a deep crater in the roadway, burning wreckage and rising smoke. The broadcaster reports that all nine people aboard died.
Emergency radio recordings supply the sequence before impact. The pilot declares a Mayday, identifies an overspeed condition and reports a rapid descent. The final excerpt is direct: "Look, we're gonna crash!"
The report identifies the aircraft as a Learjet 60 traveling from Austin, Texas, to the Bahamas. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis appears at the scene, with the accompanying narration saying no casualties beyond those aboard had been confirmed.
The closing section turns to the investigation. The broadcaster says the Federal Aviation Administration has begun examining the cause and reports that the aircraft passed through stormy weather, including thunderstorms. It offers no finding on what caused the loss of control.
