"Something just fell down," an occupant of the recording vehicle says after a plane plunges into the ground beside the road ahead and explodes.

Brazil's Jovem Pan News has shared the dashcam footage of Sunday's crash in the West Palm Beach area of Florida. The car is traveling beneath an overcast sky in rain when the aircraft suddenly enters the right side of the view. A fireball erupts, followed by flames and a column of dark smoke. The driver slows as the smoke spreads.

The channel's accompanying description identifies the aircraft as a Learjet 60 carrying nine people, citing Federal Aviation Administration information reported by local media. It says the flight departed Austin-Bergstrom International Airport in Texas for North Eleuthera Airport in the Bahamas.

The upload is titled "Câmera flagra momento em que avião cai e explode em avenida na Flórida #shorts," meaning "Camera captures moment plane crashes and explodes on avenue in Florida." It records the impact and immediate aftermath, without establishing what caused the aircraft to descend.
