A braided wedding band, unworn for ten years, keeps Massoyan Jewelers busy
No new uploads, yet the forty-day-old ring sizing video has passed 49 million views, with every twist rebuilt by hand.

The impossible ring sizing
What does a family jewelry store in northern New Jersey do on a week without new videos? Mostly, it lets its workbench keep talking.
The video still pulling the most viewers is "The impossible ring sizing," posted forty days ago. A customer brought in a braided white gold wedding band he hadn't worn in over a decade and needed it two sizes larger, with the pattern unbroken. Adding the size, the description notes, is the easy part. Hiding it is not: the ring was cut open, a solid block of white gold soldered in, and every twist and braid made again by hand. It is billed as a first, and hopefully the last, braided sizing at the bench. It has now passed 49 million views.
Close behind is a newer one with a pointed title, "They should have fixed this the first time." Joanna's rose gold ring with a black hexagon diamond had gone back to its manufacturer twice under warranty, and came back with the same four prongs tightened each time. On the third try she took it to Massoyan, where it got two extra prongs, rounded tips and a snake enhancer reworked so it sits flush. Further down, a cracked turquoise ring that belonged to a customer's late father still draws a steady crowd. She flew in from Texas so its cracks could be filled with gold in the style of kintsugi.
The channel picked up about 20,000 subscribers over the week, and its views ran a little under its usual daily pace. Even so, no channel among its nearest peers in art and crafts gained more views over the week. Kalitaku is having a lively stretch of its own, while Ross Draws and HappyBerry Crochet kept their usual steady pace.
