Fun Caboodle's mini dumpling squishy overtakes the 'Different Sizes' tutorial

How to Make DIY MINI Dumpling Squishy Step By Step Tutorial! Crafts for Kids
Once a Fun Caboodle tutorial is a week or two old, it usually settles into a gentle trickle. The mini dumpling squishy has gone the other way. Posted on September 18, it spent its early days at that quiet pace. Then it started to climb, as we reported here, and it has kept climbing: it is now close to 370,000 views and is pulling in roughly ten times its usual daily share.
That has carried it past a video built partly around it. On September 23 the channel posted "How to Make DIY Dumplings Squishies Step By Step Tutorial in Different Sizes!", which lines up jumbo, medium, mini and "itty bitty" versions side by side. The stand-alone mini has now overtaken that tutorial. In the run of dumpling crafts that began in mid-September, only two videos are still ahead of it: the regular-size dumpling posted a day earlier, and the JUMBO one, which has passed a million views.
The video is exactly what its title says, a step-by-step build. The description lists mini dumpling skins, slime, a balloon, an expander tool and assorted add-ins. It fits a channel that describes itself as a family-friendly home for crafts, DIY projects, activity books and pretend play, with a cupcake named Sprinkles as its mascot.
The newest uploads take the dumpling idea somewhere else. A dumpling slime made with pink glue went up on September 29, and on October 1 came a sugar cube squishy slime, whose description lists just a sugar cube and cornstarch. The channel as a whole is running a little above its usual daily views and added about 10,000 subscribers over the week.
