Semaglutide, BPC-157 and epitalon: Jeff Nippard puts peptides on trial

His one new upload sorts the fat-loss, injury-healing and anti-aging peptides into what the evidence supports and where it falls short, and it passed seven and a half million views in three days.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Among the fitness channels closest to Jeff Nippard in size, Jesse James West is the one running well above his usual daily pace, roughly double it, while THENX is busier than normal too. Nippard's own week came down to a single video, and it was a big one.

"Peptides Are Insane" went up on September 28 and had passed seven and a half million views three days later. The title sounds like hype, but the description promises the opposite: a chaptered look at which peptides actually live up to their reputation. The fat-loss chapter covers semaglutide, the drug behind Ozempic, along with tirzepatide and retatrutide, and asks how much lean mass people lose on them. The injury chapter turns to BPC-157, with a reminder that many injuries heal with time anyway. The anti-aging section takes on epitalon and telomeres before ending on sleep, exercise, alcohol and friendships, which is a very Nippard way to finish a video about miracle compounds.

That fits the channel. Nippard describes himself as a Canadian natural bodybuilder with a biochemistry degree, and for years his trademark has been reading the studies so his viewers don't have to.

His older uploads kept moving behind it. A tour of how bodybuilding workouts have changed since 1900, barely a week old, is still drawing well, and a ranking of ten foods by calories keeps finding viewers two weeks on. With the peptide video in the lead, he gained around ten thousand subscribers in a day.
