Göbekli Tepe, Cappadocia and Lake Van fill Island Hopper TV's Turkey guide
Two months after it went up, the 4K guide to sixteen Turkish stops is the channel's busiest video while new uploads take a break.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
Turkey Travel Guide: Best Places to Visit in TURKEY 2026 4K
Island Hopper TV posted nothing new over the seven days, and the channel's map did the traveling instead. At the front is "Turkey Travel Guide: Best Places to Visit in TURKEY 2026 4K," a two-month-old tour that moves from Istanbul and the balloon skies of Cappadocia to Pamukkale's white terraces, the ruins of Ephesus and the beach at Ölüdeniz.
The guide goes well past the usual postcard route. Its chapters reach Göbekli Tepe, a hilltop site in southeastern Turkey that archaeologists date to more than 11,000 years ago, older than Stonehenge by several thousand years, along with the stone heads of Mount Nemrut, the cliffside Sumela Monastery and Akdamar Island on Lake Van.
Right behind it sits the Tashkent guide, with Chorsu Bazaar, the ornate metro stations and a high-speed train day trip to Samarkand, followed by a Malta tour that runs from Valletta to the Blue Lagoon on Comino and Popeye Village.
The whole catalog added roughly 840,000 views over the week, a touch below its usual daily pace, and about a thousand new subscribers. Among travel channels of a similar size it sits in the middle for views. Tourist Walk Tours and Jess & Jake had the busiest weeks in the group, while Bryan and Jaidyn and Jim Zim kept to quieter routes. For Island Hopper TV, the week's most visited destination was a country it filmed back in August.
