Mdina, St Julian's and a floating beach club: Molly and Matt's first Malta guide
The three-day itinerary went up on September 30 and has passed 60,000 views, with a Maltese viewer among those praising the research.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
First Time in MALTA 🇲🇹 The ULTIMATE 3 Day Itinerary (travel guide)
Six days old, the Malta guide is the newest thing on Dabble and Travel, and it is also the busiest. Molly and Matt, the London couple behind the channel, spent their first time on the island moving from the waterfront bustle of St Julian's to the old inland towns of Rabat and Mdina. Mdina is the walled former capital, often called the Silent City. Along the way they tried Maltese food and beer, and they stopped at what the description bills as Europe's only floating beach club.
The comment section reads like a travel forum. People who have been several times swap favorites, and Gozo and Xlendi Bay come up more than once. One viewer tells the couple they should try the pastizzi next time, and others say Malta is now on their list for next year. A local viewer admits to usually switching off travel vlogs about the country after a few minutes, but says this one got the details right. Several want to know when the other days of the trip arrive.
Right behind it sits the channel's Croatia summer, still drawing viewers. The first-time visit to a nude beach on the island of Rab, now sixteen days old, has passed 160,000 views and keeps a steady pace. The Rovinj guide from August has mostly settled.
With only one new upload, the channel as a whole ran at about half its usual daily views. That was a common story among similar travel channels, many of which also ran below their usual pace. Chris Must List and Ame in a van were the exceptions, both running ahead of their norm.

What viewers say
Maltese here. I often watch travel blogs of my country out of curiosity and switch off after a few minutes. You, however have done your research very well. I can't fault it. Chapeau. I can't wait for the next installement.
@anthonybuttigieg4826See it on YouTubeAnother great video guys! 👏 I’ve been to Malta multiple times and going back this year. I really enjoy it very much with its many common aspects of home (🇬🇧) and the uniqueness of the Maltese language, food and atmosphere. My favourite is Gozo and Xlendi Bay. The scenery is stunning and is like stepping back in time there - plus they make the best sun-dried tomatoes and olive oil on the island imo! So glad you both enjoyed and I’ll check out some of the new spots you stumbled on like the Victorian rock pools!! Many thanks and happy travels!
