Why this story? The video opened at a pace of 1,116,879 views a day, 13 times a normal first day on this channel (87,318).

I FOUND HIM!

Who found whom? The title of BolingBros' newest short does not say, but the comments do. In the chase, one brother has been quietly messing with another, gets caught, and has a split second to realize it before he runs. That realization is the moment viewers keep coming back to. Several say the whole thing plays like a cartoon, and one suggests sending the runner straight to Tom and Jerry.

The clip passed a million views in about a day. A short on this channel usually opens near 90,000. Likes arrived much faster than they normally do, while the comment section stayed close to its usual size: a lot of people watched, laughed and moved on.

The same day brought a second strong start. "We Found A Mountain Lion…" also opened at several times the channel's usual pace, so the brothers had two titles about finding something running well ahead of the rest. The channel as a whole was still slower than usual that day.

That schedule is the channel's whole pitch. The brothers bill themselves as a trio of real-life siblings who post skits every day, with one writing, shooting and editing, and the other two playing the wild card and the fan favorite. In the busiest of this week's uploads, those last two roles look a lot like the one who hides and the one who catches him.
