A cat in a tent, nearly four million views on, carries Scarlet & Seth
The couple behind the self-converted van posted nothing new, and a 55-day-old camping short with their cat did most of the work.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Scarlet & Seth promise new videos on Fridays, but this past Friday came and went without one. The van, the couple and their two cats, Lula and Sasha, took a pause, and the channel leaned on what was already parked there.
Mostly that meant "Tent Camping With My Cat!", a short from early August that is now close to four million views and still drawing tens of thousands a day. Next to it the rest of the catalog looks sleepy: a mini van tour for two people and two cats, about ten weeks old, and "She came with us", an eleven-day-old clip tagged Alaska, where one of the cats rides along on the road trip. Both move along in the hundreds a day.
Without a new upload, the daily pace sat well below its usual level, and the week added about 1.6 million views and roughly a thousand subscribers. That is softer than normal, but among the travel channels close to their size, only Michael Drake gathered more views over the seven days. Most of that group ran below their usual pace too, with Ame in a van and Chris Must List the exceptions having busier stretches.
So the camping cat holds the fort, and the Alaska clip hints at where the van has been heading.
