What's under the house? Two million looks below Expedition Evans' hull
Brett and Jade's one new upload this week was a warning about stolen identities, with an AI twist viewers couldn't stop talking about.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
What's Under My House Today? #boat #underwater #ocean #digitalnomad
"What's Under My House Today?" asks the short, and for Brett and Jade Evans the house is Eva, the boat they pulled back from a salvage yard and later sailed across an ocean with their dogs Dingo and Penny. Posted two months ago, the underwater peek has passed two million views. It is still the clip pulling in the most viewers every day, well ahead of a newer one whose title wonders, with a grimace emoji, whose idea the viewing window was.
The only new video was something else entirely. "Don't Let This Happen to YOU" is a short warning about identity theft, and the comments show where it landed: viewers were mostly unsettled by how convincingly AI can copy a person. One cheerfully argued that two Jades would be a win for everyone. Another asked whether that invitation to sail around the world had come from the real Brett after all. A few had other questions, like why there was no water anywhere in the shot.
With so little new on the channel, the whole thing ran at less than half its usual daily pace, and subscribers barely moved. Even so, among travel channels of a similar size, only Tourist Walk Tours and Jess & Jake added more views over the seven days. The view from under the hull is doing most of that work.
