Tickets for Godzilla Minus Zero, and a Minus One exhibition on Awaji Island
Takashi Yamazaki's sequel opens November 6, and its IMAX trailer has passed 12 million views in under a month.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
Head to Awaji Island for a special Godzilla Minus One exhibition at Nijigen no Mori!

The newest upload is the simplest: a short announcing that tickets are on sale for Godzilla Minus Zero. It has had barely half a day, and it is already picking up views faster than anything else the channel posted. The film is billed as the first Japanese production Filmed For IMAX, written and directed by Takashi Yamazaki, who also handles its visual effects, as he did on Godzilla Minus One, the 2023 film that won the Oscar for best visual effects. The trailer's own tagline is blunt: there is no third time.
The most watched of the week's three uploads points backward instead. It invites fans to a Godzilla Minus One exhibition at Nijigen no Mori, the anime-themed park on Awaji Island, open only until December 6. Viewers lingered over the detail of a miniature, and one counted down the month left until the new film.
Chibi Godzilla Raids Again also went up, a three-minute episode devoted to Chibi Anguirus and its web journal, closing as always on Akira Ifukube's theme.
The heavy lifting, though, still belongs to the Minus Zero trailer from early September, now past 12 million views. The channel as a whole ran a little below its usual pace, with its subscriber count holding steady, and among film studio channels of similar size it had the calmest week. Legendary, busy with Street Fighter, ran well above its norm.
