A 2026 Charger, a Hurricane engine and a race Evan Shanks chose to skip
No new uploads went up, so the Dodge build's turbo kit and its setback video kept the channel company, with a Porsche Macan exhaust surprise in between.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
Bad News For My 2026 Dodge Charger Build...
Among the car channels close to his size, Evan Shanks had the calmest week: no new uploads, and the smallest gain in views of the group, while George J Saliba's channel added more than eleven million. Real Mechanic Stuff and superspeedersRob both ran well above their usual pace.
What kept Evan's channel moving is the project his viewers already know. "My 2026 Dodge Charger BIG SINGLE TURBO KIT IS FINISHED!", now two months old, is still the video doing the most work. It shows a custom kit for a Xona Rotor single turbo on the new Hurricane-powered Charger, built with a deadline in mind: Roadkill Nights on Woodward Avenue.
The deadline lost. Its follow-up, "Bad News For My 2026 Dodge Charger Build...", sits close behind, and it explains why. Getting a standalone MoTeC system to talk to the car's CAN bus without losing power steering, ABS or direct injection turned out to be the hard part, and Evan writes that he would rather miss one race than show up with something he is not proud of. The car went to Roadkill Nights to be seen, not to race, and the description says a proper harness and a transmission plan are now lined up.
In between sits a gentler job: a surprise ARMYTRIX valved exhaust for his wife Victoria's Porsche Macan S, installed by Evan himself, with her reaction and the kids' along for the ride. It is a month old and still finding listeners.
Views held close to their usual daily pace, and the subscriber count stayed where it was, just under 950,000.
