Reece Shearsmith met his wife in a coffin, and Andrew Garfield is next at the Dish table

Horror week at Dish. Reece Shearsmith, of The League of Gentlemen and Inside No. 9, sat down with Nick Grimshaw and Angela Hartnett ahead of his new book, Things I Took From The Dark: The Museum of Me, about the odd objects he has collected over a lifetime of loving the macabre.
Angela cooked to his calendar rather than to Halloween. Reece and his wife mark New Year's Eve with salmon en croûte, so she made Martha Collison's version and swapped the salmon for trout. Served with a radish and lamb's lettuce salad, it gave the week one of its clips. The conversation went to stranger places: his Celebrity Bake Off pumpkin traybake that earned a Hollywood Handshake, a Pumpkin or Bat game, a peek inside the Gossip Club he shares with Bob Mortimer and Matt Berry, and a clip titled "Meeting your wife...in a coffin?!" That last one is two days old and already picking up views faster than any other Shearsmith cut.
The pasta clip drew the biggest crowd of the episode. Then on Tuesday a short trailer, "Coming up: Andrew Garfield", went up and passed 300,000 views in under a day. Viewers point out that Nick and Angela both got dressed up for him, and several say they had hoped for this booking ever since his visit to Amy Poehler's podcast.
The channel gained about 4,000 subscribers over the week, and no channel in its podcast and interview group added more views. Bussin' With The Boys came closest, while So True with Caleb Hearon ran a little below its usual pace.
