Ben Greenfield, peptides and a haunted house actor on Bussin' With The Boys

Episode 401 runs nearly three hours with the biohacker and 13-time Ironman, while Bus Scenes finally returned with a summer of mariachi bands and fantasy drafts.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Will Compton and Taylor Lewan put fifteen videos on the channel this week, and the Week 5 college football recap we wrote about here is still the one most people are watching. Its comment section has a favorite segment, Fix of the G6, and one wish that got far more agreement than anything else: more Josh Pate on the bus. Fair enough, given what his last visit did.

The bigger production was Episode 401 with Ben Greenfield, the biohacking author and 13-time Ironman. The chapters wander far from football: red light therapy, twelve weeks on the carnivore diet, water the description says is infused with steak frequency, Tim Ferriss, testosterone, and a twenty-minute stretch on a 49ers cell tower theory. Less than a day old, it is already moving almost as fast as the recap.

Then there is the short in which Lewan hires a haunted house actor to scare his co-host, an early start on the October run the hosts keep calling Spooktober. And Bus Scenes is back after what the description calls a few minor setbacks, packing a whole summer into one video: Lewan wrestling Volk, a mariachi band at his birthday, Chase Daniel at the shop, and behind the scenes with Darius Rucker.

Daily views are running a little under usual, and about 2,000 new subscribers arrived. Among podcast channels of similar size, Bussin' is the smallest by subscribers but gained the second most views this week, behind only Toni and Ryan. Andrew Gold's heretics and The Other Channel are both running well above their usual pace.
