Candace Owens’ Former Boss: “I Believe in Demons”
"Candace Owens' Former Boss: 'I Believe in Demons'" is the newest full interview on Andrew Gold's Heretics. The guest is Jeremy Boreing, who co-founded The Daily Wire with Ben Shapiro and worked alongside Owens while she hosted a show there. Fourteen hours after it went up, it had about 120,000 views. A new interview here usually ends its whole first day near 13,000.
The chapters show how much ground the hour covers. Boreing gives his read on Owens and her relationship with truth, fame and self-interest, including her claims about Brigitte Macron and what he calls the point where "just asking questions" turns into character assassination. He offers a spiritual reading of Tucker Carlson's account of being attacked by demons. The talk then moves to immigration, free speech and what Boreing calls the "third-worldisation" of social media.
The most personal turn belongs to the host. Gold, who has interviewed Richard Dawkins on this channel, tells Boreing he would like to believe in God but cannot make himself. The last chapters reach Shapiro, the early bet that built The Daily Wire, and Boreing's King Arthur series, The Pendragon Cycle.
It is the second week running that demons have landed in a Heretics title. Drea de Matteo's "What I Saw in Hollywood Was DEMONIC" went up on October 1 and has passed 680,000 views.
The comment section is busy. Many of its most liked lines are deadpan jokes about the absurd errands people say they ran before pressing play, while others argue with the booking itself. Gold wrote underneath that he hopes to have Owens on within six months, to put Boreing's criticisms to her and let her answer.
