Can a cracker to the eye glutenate you? Brennan Lee Mulligan finds out on Adventuring Party

A clip from Dropout's Adventuring Party, where half the panel is gluten free, turned into the week's most watched upload, with Lou Wilson asking the question and Emily Axford pausing mid-laugh.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Dimension 20 is Dropout's actual-play anthology, the Dungeons & Dragons show built around game master Brennan Lee Mulligan. Its YouTube channel works as a trailer shelf: short clips that send viewers toward the full episodes behind the paywall. Three went up this week, and the one that drew the biggest crowd has no dice in it at all.

"Can You Get Gluten Through Your Eye?" comes from Adventuring Party, the show's talkback, where the cast sits down after each episode. Brennan tossed a cracker, it hit a gluten-free castmate, and Lou Wilson asked the obvious question out loud. The description adds its own footnote: please don't put an EpiPen in your eye. Viewers keep pointing at the beat where Brennan's face shifts from mischief to real worry before he notices everyone else is still laughing. Several also note that half the table is gluten free, and a few of them are celiac and see themselves in it.

The Wednesday upload, "Our Most Legally Questionable Episode Yet," teases a very special guest on a new Adventuring Party and keeps the guest's name a secret, except for two jar emojis. Saturday's short, about Ally Beardsley being so lucky they don't even have to roll themselves, is already picking up views faster than anything else on the channel. A two-week-old clip called simply "Lou Wilson's Aesthetic" is still moving too.

The channel as a whole ran a bit below its usual pace, with about 3.6 million views over seven days. That still puts it second among the anime, comics and tabletop channels nearest its size, behind ZachTheBold. Tales from the Stinky Dragon and Tolarian Community College landed close behind.
