BuzzFeed Celeb's co-star test with the cast of Verity runs about fifteen minutes, with chapters on love languages, karaoke songs, craft service snacks and favorite swear words. The piece that went furthest is one small slice of it: childhood celebrity crushes.

Posted on Friday, the short passed half a million views in about 30 hours, a far bigger start than a short on this channel usually gets, and well ahead of the full test it was cut from. Its comment section ran about nine times busier than usual, and it reads like a 1990s record shelf. Viewers say Hathaway's answer was Eddie Vedder, the Pearl Jam singer, and Johnson's was Damon Albarn of Blur, and plenty of them write that they had the same crush. Hartnett's answer, Kim Basinger, gets its own thread, with a nod to her Vicki Vale in Tim Burton's Batman. The title's whispered "don't tell leo" never says which Leo it means.

Hathaway, Johnson and Hartnett star together in Verity, the thriller adapted from Colleen Hoover's novel, and the channel has spent the week cutting the test into smaller pieces, from pet peeves to a short about umbrellas in the rain. The comments notice the chemistry too: Hathaway and Johnson teasing each other, and a few moments when the two talk right over Hartnett.
